Every morning, Philiboss takes Vahina for a walk through the hills of Châteauvieux — a classified protected wildlife reserve. If you feel like joining, you’re welcome. Otherwise, choose your training. Or, stay on the terrace with your coffee, watching the gliders from Tallard take off in silence.
In the evening, the kitchen is open to everyone. Each guest cooks what they like. Tables form naturally. So do conversations. That’s the spirit of Les Terrasses de l’Aviateur.

Mountain biking & Hiking
The trails of the Hautes-Alpes are right at your doorstep. Go alone or in a group, at your own pace, on paths for all levels.
Swimming in the lake

Gliding & Skydiving
Tallard airfield is 5 minutes away. Two-seat glider flights, tandem skydiving — the Alpine sky is yours.

The stage space is open. Philiboss is there if you’d like to explore — improvisation, presence, authentic play. No obligation. Just an invitation.

Philiboss — Drama teacher, photographer, founder of Acteur.Studio.
He knows every trail in Châteauvieux, every light in this valley. He’ll take you to Tallard airfield to watch the gliders, teach you photography in the hills, and be there in the evening around the table — if you’d like.
Vahina, his Siberian husky, is the real boss of the house. She’ll decide for herself whether she likes you. 🐺

Do I need theatre experience to come?
Absolutely not. The acting training is an option, not an obligation. You can spend your entire stay hiking, photographing and swimming. Philiboss is there if you want to explore — not if you don’t.
Can I bring my dog?
Yes — Les Terrasses de l’Aviateur are dog-friendly. Vahina will be delighted to welcome a fellow walking companion. One dog per room maximum.
What is the minimum stay?
From 2 night imposed. Stay 2 days, 1 week or longer — it’s entirely your choice.
How do I cancel?

How do I get to Châteauvieux?
