🎭 Let’s skip the legal hassles. Let’s talk straight.

This page exists because the law (GDPR) requires it. But beyond the legal obligation, it’s a matter of respect: if you trust me with your data, you have the right to know what I do with it.

So let’s keep it simple. Direct. Authentic.

Who am I?

Jean-Philippe Tchifteyan
Known as Philiboss at Acteur.Studio
133 Bd Agniel Ragone 13190 Allauch-France
Email: contact@acteur.studio

I’m the one who runs the platform. I’m the one who has access to your data. No one else.

What data do I collect?

When you sign up:

  • Your first and last name
  • Your email address
  • Your password (encrypted — I can’t read it, even if I wanted to)
  • Your country (if you share it, otherwise it stays empty)
  • You automatically accept our Code of Ethics

When you browse the site:

  • Your IP address (that’s your internet connection identifier)
  • The pages you visit (to know which courses interest you)
  • Your progress in courses (so you can pick up where you left off)
  • Your comments or questions (if you leave any)

When you pay:

Payment information goes directly through PayPal. I never store your banking details. Never.

Why do I use this data?

Not to spam you. Not to sell it. Not to bombard you with ads.

I use it to:

  1. Give you access to courses — That’s the deal between us. If you pay, you get access. If you have an account, you can log in. Makes sense.
  2. Respond to you — If you ask me a question by email, I’ll need your email address to reply. Makes sense too.
  3. Improve the platform — If I see that nobody watches a video to the end, maybe it’s too long. I can improve it.
  4. Handle administrative matters — Invoices, subscription management, accounting. The boring but mandatory stuff.
  5. Comply with the law — Yes, I have to keep certain data for tax authorities. That’s life.

What I do NOT do:

  • ❌ Send spam
  • ❌ Sell your data to anyone
  • ❌ Flood you with advertisements
  • ❌ Share your info with business partners

How long do I keep your data?

  • As long as you have an active account: I keep everything (obviously)
  • After closing your account: 3 years (accounting requirement)
  • Navigation data: 13 months maximum
  • Invoices: 10 years (legal requirement — thanks, French administration)

Want to delete your account and all your data? One email, and it’s done.

Who else has access to your data?

No one, except the technical service providers essential to the platform’s operation:

  • Web host: WordPress.com
  • Payment processor: PayPal/WooCommerce
  • Email service: MailPoet
  • Google Analytics (anonymized version — for visitor statistics)

All these providers are subject to GDPR or equivalent agreements. They cannot use your data for anything other than the service they provide me.

I do not sell or rent your data. Ever.

Cookies (and no, they’re not biscuits 🍪)

The site uses cookies. Here’s which ones:

Essential cookies (required)

  • Login: To keep you logged in during your session
  • Cart: To remember what you want to buy
  • Preferences: To remember your choices (language, etc.)

Analytics cookies (optional)

  • Google Analytics (anonymized): To know how many people visit the site, which pages are popular, etc.

You can refuse non-essential cookies via the banner that appears on your first visit. The site will still work, I promise.

Your rights (yes, you have them!)

The law gives you rights. Here they are:

1. Right of access

Want to know what data I have on you? Ask me, I’ll send it to you.

2. Right of rectification

Did I spell your name wrong? Changed your email? Tell me, I’ll correct it.

3. Right of deletion

Want to delete everything? No problem. One email and it’s done (except for data I must keep by law — invoices for example).

4. Right of objection

Don’t want to receive emails from me anymore? OK. You can unsubscribe at any time.

5. Right to portability

Want to retrieve your data in a readable format to transfer elsewhere? No problem.

6. Right to restriction

Want me to stop doing anything with your data (without deleting it)? That’s possible.

How to exercise these rights?

Tell me what you want, I’ll respond within 30 days maximum (often much sooner).

Not happy with my response?

You can file a complaint with the CNIL (French Data Protection Authority): www.cnil.fr

Security

I take security seriously:

Encrypted connections (HTTPS — the little padlock in the address bar)
Secure passwords (hashed — even I can’t read them)
Limited access (only I have access to the database)
Regular backups (to not lose anything in case of problems)
Certified hosting (compliant with security standards)

No system is 100% foolproof. But I do everything possible to protect your information.

International transfers

Your data is hosted in France/European Union.

Some tools (like Google Analytics) may involve transfers to the United States. These transfers are governed by the European Union’s standard contractual clauses to ensure an equivalent level of protection.

Changes to this policy

This policy may evolve. If I make significant changes, I’ll inform you by email.

Otherwise, the last update date is always shown at the top of this page.

Got a question? A doubt?

Contact me directly:

I always respond. Personally. With authenticity.

Because here, we stop the hassles. We speak the truth.
