Vahina comes with me on our walk every day, and she roams free in the savanna of Châteauvieux. In this video, you see her moving at her own pace, in the middle of her surroundings.
Then I join her and crouch down beside her to stroke her, simply. I call her Loulou, as I often do: the two of us are calm and at ease.
Afterwards, a cyclist rides past. I don’t know whether he saw us; in any case, he didn’t notice us. The calm then returns and we pick up our moment where we left it.
Dogs like it when we show them a little affection, at least when it interests them, when we share emotions. I don’t know whether it is love, but it is a moment of tenderness, and I wanted to share it with you, the people who follow Vahina’s adventures in Châteauvieux.

- A complimentary Dog Photo Safari at dawn or sunset: I photograph you with your dog.
- A large poster, included with every stay.
- A dog-friendly B&B, with or without a dog. The first dog is included, then €15 per night from the second, three dogs maximum.
- A 6,000 m² property with no fence: dogs remain their owners’ responsibility.
- Five rooms, for example the Bishop’s Room, on the ground floor, with a terrace and garden.
- Opening aimed for 2027, subject to the completion of the renovation work.
