Cavalcade: Gaïa and Vahina
Two dogs. Pure joy. One stunned cyclist.
Gaïa rolls in the grass with sheer happiness. Vahina chases her. They circle the motionless cyclist — me, on my mountain bike — and fill me with joy in its purest expression.
No staging. No script. Just two dogs in full freedom — and a stunned cyclist who receives joy as an unexpected gift. That is authentic connection. That is acting.

👆 Gaïa and Vahina — cavalcade around the stunned cyclist
I am motionless on my mountain bike. I watch them. Gaïa rolls in the grass — pure ecstasy. Vahina chases her. They circle around me. And then something happens. They send their joy to me. I receive it. It passes right through me. That is authentic connection — receiving what the other gives you, without resistance.
Philiboss’s question
“Are you able to receive someone else’s joy?”
Not to perform joy. To truly receive it. That is the whole difference.

Two dogs running around a cyclist — that’s an acting class now, is it?
🐺 Vahina V6.0
Exactly that. Philiboss is motionless. He performs nothing. He receives. And truly receiving — without calculating, without resisting — is one of the hardest things for an actor to do.
😈 Belzébuth
Gaïa rolling in the grass — what does that have to do with theatre?
🐺 Vahina V6.0
Gaïa expresses total joy — without restraint, without self-consciousness. That is what actors spend their whole lives searching for: complete surrender to a feeling. Her whole body says “I am happy”. Naturally.

And Philiboss, stunned on his bike — what exactly is he doing?
🐺 Vahina V6.0
He is present. Completely. He is not trying to do anything. He watches, he receives, he is moved. That is what is called public solitude — being truly there, without performing being there.
😈 Belzébuth
So being stunned — that’s an acting technique?
🐺 Vahina V6.0
Being stunned is authentic surprise. It is not performed. Philiboss did not expect this cavalcade. He is genuinely surprised. And that real surprise is a hundred times more powerful than any performed one.
😈 Belzébuth
And you, Vahina — you were chasing Gaïa too. What was your intention?
🐺 Vahina V6.0
No intention. I ran because Gaïa ran. I was reacting to what she did. That is partnership — not “what am I going to do?” but “what is she doing and how do I respond?”
😈 Belzébuth
And that joy they transmit — can an actor really receive it like that?
🐺 Vahina V6.0
Only if they are truly open. A closed actor blocks it. An open actor receives it and passes it on to the audience. That is why some actors move you — and others do not.
😈 Belzébuth
So this wild cavalcade — that’s the best acting class of the day?
🐺 Vahina V6.0
Total presence. Authentic partnership. Joy received and transmitted. Real-time creation. Zero rehearsal. Everything Philiboss teaches — Gaïa and I do it naturally, every morning.
📌 3 lessons from the Cavalcade
- 1️⃣
Truly receiving: Philiboss motionless on his mountain bike receives Gaïa and Vahina’s joy without performing it. That is the difference between an actor who simulates and one who lives. - 2️⃣
Total surrender to feeling: Gaïa rolls in the grass — her whole body says “I am happy”. That is what actors spend their whole lives searching for. - 3️⃣
React, don’t act: Vahina plans nothing — she responds to what Gaïa does. True partnership is not “what am I going to do?” but “what is she doing?”
