Every morning, Philiboss takes Vahina for a walk through the hills of Châteauvieux — a classified protected wildlife reserve. If you feel like joining, you’re welcome. Otherwise stay on the terrace with your coffee, watching the gliders from Tallard take off in silence.
Philiboss lives on the ground floor with Vahina. The four guest rooms are upstairs — quiet, private, with shared access to the lounge and the 6,000 m² garden. On some evenings, he opens his table d’hôtes: a home-cooked dinner, on reservation, at an additional cost.

Philiboss — Drama teacher, photographer, founder of Acteur.Studio.
He knows every trail in Châteauvieux, every light in this valley. He’ll take you to Tallard airfield to watch the gliders, teach you photography in the hills, and be there in the evening — if you’d like — around his table d’hôtes.
Vahina, his Siberian husky, lives with him on the ground floor. She’ll decide for herself whether she likes you. 🐺

Do I need theatre experience to come?
Not at all. The acting training is an option, not an obligation. You can spend your entire stay hiking, photographing and swimming. Philiboss is there if you want to explore — not if you don’t.
Is breakfast really included?
Yes — homemade breakfast is included in every room rate, every day of your stay.
What is the table d’hôtes?
On certain evenings, Philiboss cooks a home dinner for guests who wish to join. It’s on reservation and charged separately. Price on request when you book.
Can I bring my dog?
Yes — Les Terrasses de l’Aviateur are dog-friendly. Vahina will be delighted to welcome a fellow companion. One dog per room maximum.
What is the minimum stay?
2 nights minimum. Stay 2 days, a week, or longer — it’s entirely your choice.
How do I cancel?
Cancellation is possible at any time before arrival. Full refund guaranteed. No conditions.
How do I get to Châteauvieux?
By car from Gap: 20 min. From Marseille: 2 hrs. From Lyon: 2.5 hrs. Marseille-Provence airport is 2 hrs by road. Philiboss will give you directions on booking.
