Marseille was the most beautiful city in France. Today, I’m ashamed to go back there. The French economic fabric has been destroyed over 40 years. Craftsmen, textiles, culture… everything has been devastated. And I, Jean-Philippe Tchifteyan — Philiboss to my students — I’ve lived through it all. I’ve tried everything. For 40 years, I’ve attempted to retrain. 40 years. I have 12 professions in which I am a master. I worked 15 years in each profession. And you know what I discovered? That retraining doesn’t work. What works is transmitting what you’ve learned. What saves us is Culture.

Belzebuth, you’re asking the question everyone asks. And that’s EXACTLY why I must answer. If I only taught “financial success,” you’d be right. But I teach the science of the human being. I teach how to access higher consciousness. I teach how to solve ALL your problems, including the ones I’m living through myself. Because the solution isn’t in money, it’s in self-knowledge.
Okay, but concretely… You can’t pay your rent with “higher consciousness.” People want PRACTICAL solutions, not philosophy.
Belzebuth, let me quote Stanislavski: “The goal of our art is not to show our technique, but to create the inner life of the human spirit.” My master doesn’t teach survival techniques. He teaches the deep science that allows human beings to function in harmony with the universe. Like this hand — it functions all by itself, without being asked. Why? Because it’s in harmony with the whole. We, human beings, are the same. We must function in harmony. That’s when we acquire independence. That’s when we can solve EVERYTHING.
Vahina is right. Since Antiquity, people have sought this science. They solved problems that seem to us, the so-called civilized, unsolvable. It’s clear they had something. A science we’ve lost. And that I invite you to rediscover through Actor.Studio.
Okay, okay, fine. But then why THEATER? Why go through acting to teach all this? Couldn’t we just… do meditation or normal psychology?
Excellent question! Why do we do theater? We do theater to try to understand deep human nature, how human beings function. That’s the purpose of theater. Nothing else. Theater isn’t commerce. If you want to do business, don’t do theater. Theater is the exploration of the human soul in action. That’s why I’ve studied for 40 years behavior, the mechanism of the human being. And now, it’s my DUTY to transmit my knowledge.

Relationship problems, work problems, relationship problems, training problems. We’re in a complex world where we must find only solutions. And if you don’t have this Aladdin’s lamp, we’re lost.
Okay, I must admit… That’s a beautiful metaphor. And frankly, after 40 years of struggling while trying to understand the human being, you’ve gained something: CREDIBILITY. You’re not a guru preaching from your yacht. You’re someone who lived through chaos and found a solution. That’s powerful.
